Wanna Make Up

Ali is one of the cutest people I know.  Your instant child comes out around her because she’s so fun and playful.  I have had the blessing of getting to know her this year and so I was pumped when she asked me to do her hair and makeup for Senior Prom.  Her hair is something that came about after she said, “Do whatever you want!”  She looks awesome pictured here with her date!

I had never met Annie but when I arrived at Sally’s house before Prom, I knew she would have a friend there who wanted her hair and makeup done.  Lucky me that Annie is so beautiful and her eyes are stunning.  I shot a quick picture of her before dashing off to other appointments and then snagged a picture of her with Sally  and some friends in her dress.  Her overall look is very romantic and elegant, I think.

Lindsey is so flexible and wonderful.  She usually trusts me to do whatever I want and I love that.  We practiced her hair a few weeks ago and there were a few variations to the end result.  I’ve never done black and white pictures but she was decked out in all black and white and she looked sharp!  I did her hair and makeup, putting the finishing touches on everything, when her date arrived to pick her up.  She looks so elegant!

Margaret is so cool.  I could talk a lot about her humility and kindness but instead, you should just meet her.  She’s very counter-cultural and I’m honored to know her.  For Prom she wanted an updo; she had never worn her hair up for a formal event.  She brought me a picture of Carrie Underwood with a low side messy bun and this look really suits her.  She did a great job with her makeup!  I can’t wait to see pictures with the finished look.  She’s beautiful!

Sally is the sister of one of my students and I had never met her until I arrived at her house to doll her up for Prom.  Her mom gave me some great insight that Sally didn’t want anything “frou frou”.  I started putting some braids in Sally’s hair and she was like, “I already like it!”  I did her hair and make up and got a picture of her all put together.  She’s so pretty!

Yes, Brittany has gorgeous hair.  Yes, I am jealous!  She came over and I dried and styled her hair for a special service she’s apart of tonight before she GRADUATES tomorrow.  I thought I would show you her amazing hair from all sides.  Enjoy!

Sara is a little bit of a genius because she’s taking 5 AP classes and graduating in 20 days so naturally with all that going on, she  forgot to ask me to do her hair from Prom.  I totally have time for Sara!  She brought me a picture of something she liked and I said, “Sara, I really hope I can pull this off.”   Her hair curls beautifully and she seemed super pleased with this outcome so I consider this lovely partial up-do a success!

Cheryl is Morgan’s friend that I had never met, but she wanted me to do her hair for Prom and I think it turned out nice!  She’s such a down to earth girl and I appreciated that she was laid back and let me take some liberty as I was styling her hair.  It’s a little similar to Brittany’s Jr./Sr. hair but a little different and totally suits her!

Morgan is a beautiful brown eyed girl with dark brown hair so when I heard she wanted me to do her hair and make up for Prom, I jumped at the chance.  She wanted something reminiscent of  ”Carrie Underwood” so I have a side view, a front view before make up and then after just before the dress and accessories.  If she posts some pictures of her whole look, I’ll update!
